Power Lunch

PowerLunch events are held at changing sites with a featured guest speaker, they are from 11:45AM-1:30PM and include a lunch. The cost is $25 for members, and $45 for non members.

We thank everyone who had made our 07-08 Season of Power Lunches a great success! The power lunch program is over for the season and will kick off again in Oct of 2008, for the 08-09 program year! Check back soon for more updates!

October 9th 2008 - Robert Coughlin

Robert Coughlin, president of the Massachusetts Biotech Council was the guest speaker at this Power Lunch. The event was held at the beautiful Vachon Wildlife Sanctuary in Leominster and was sponsored by IC Federal Credit Union. Mr. Coughlin presented on the state of Bio-technology within Massachusetts. He explained his objectives in relation to where the industry sits now and where he expects it to go. President Coughlin also spoke about bio-ready sites and their role in bringing companies to Massachusetts.

April 9th 2008 - Marty Meehan

UMass Lowell Chancellor Marty Meehan was the guest speaker at the April 9th(2008) Power Lunch. The former U.S. congressman spoke of his experiences in politics and at the college and how they are similar.
